The latest oasis, the first in the 2nd expedition of the Nurope has just finished and I was again happy that I attended. During the days we met a lot of different people, to describe it a bit, we met “1/4th” of Laibach something of a national icon part of an awakening in Slovenia regarding [...]

During the past month I’ve taken part in an Environmental Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark. A conference about Energy efficiency and a Partner Search Forum for the next EU, Baltic Sea Region (BSR) programme for 2007-2013. More to come about these two as well as other things I’ve picked up during this past month.

Even though we rate high in SD, innovation, education and what-not-indicators I have to say that living in Finland can be VERY frustrating sometimes. I just read about the scheme in the UK to give real-time-electricity-cost-meters to the consumers. A way for people to follow their energy consumption and that it costs right now. This [...]

I stumbeled upon the County of Växjö in my work
today, I’ve heared about them before, concerning
the ecobudget system they use.
Växsjö County in Sweden if going carbon neutral,
between the years 1993 and 2005 they reduced
their CO2 emissions with 24%.
2025 they aim to have reduced their emissions
compared to 1993s level by 70%.
A fossile fuel free Växjö.
